Ochil Ultra Marathon 2023

In September 2023, members of the RockRose Energy team ran the Ochil Ultra Marathon to raise money for the incredible My Name’5 Doddie Foundation. The charity was set up in memory of former rugby player Doddie Weir OBE and is committed to funding research for effective treatments for Motor Neuron Disease.

Covering 50 miles the Ochil Ultra starts in Perth, crosses the Ochil Hills and finishes at Stirling University. The team succeeded in raising £5,000, 250% over their target fundraise amount, for the amazing My Name’5 Doddie Foundation. This event is part of our consistent efforts to support and promote causes that are close to our employees’ hearts.
